{Re}minded

to be drawn to remember something of significance or to have one's mind transformed by the grace of Christ.

Nerf guns, rooftops and long jumps, oh my!

So much done-ness

—I hate the feeling of packing up “my life” in boxes… I say “my life” because all of this stuff isn’t my life, but it’s all the stuff that accompanies me wherever I go… so in that way it’s a part of it… I never thought of myself as a nomad, but, well, kinda. I suppose we all are, though, so long as we live in this world.

Didn’t expect to be spending THIS much time at Disneyland during finals week :)

now this is a movie I’d wanna see ;) I still need to see the actual one, dang it!

And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.

What, what, what am I doing?

By George, I’ve Done It!

I suddenly find myself on the other side of a little thing Biola likes to call Torrey… the biggest surprise: HOW ON EARTH DID I READ OVER 200 BOOKS IN THE PAST 4 YEARS!!? That’s more than I’ve ever read in my whole lifetime! :) God is good and He has been so gracious… but the time is not for reminiscing quite yet… that will come once all of my OTHER work is done :).

The time and place has almost come to be done with this time and place

The Way I See “Nerdy”…

“Nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff. We don’t have to be like, ‘oh, that purse is okay,’ or ‘yeah, I liked that band’s early stuff.’ Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it. When people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is: ‘you like stuff!’ Which is just not a good insult at all, like, ‘you are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness.’ ” - John Green
